tango&core is an argentine tango dance school based in amsterdam
directed by damián rosenthal and vanessa fatauros

The purpose of tango&core is to help dancers, from beginners to advanced, to discover and explore tango. We believe that solid dance technique, a musical and cultural background of Argentine tango, are the keys to enjoy and appreciate tango dancing.

We think that from the very beginning you get a warm welcome among students. That’s why in tango&core we mix levels, from beginner to advanced dancers. This helps dancers to improve their technique and creates an atmosphere of exchange and bonding between people. Our philosophy and method is to provide you with solid bases, musical and cultural background as well as a social network. We have taught for more than 15 years, always respecting the roots of Argentine tango.

Tango quote of the

Tango is about feeling and sensitivity, otherwise you
are just doing gymnastics. You can do all
the steps but it has to have the feeling and sensitivity of authentic tango.
